Dear St. Timothy Members,

Greetings in Christ!  

There are three staff positions that are vital to the life and mission of our congregation that need to be filled in the near future. Below is a summary of the three positions and information regarding the job postings.  

Shari Helms, our beloved office administrator, is retiring in September. Shari has been very gracious in giving staff and the Personnel Committee plenty of advance notice and has offered to help foster a smooth transition for the new office administrator. Shari has been a loving voice and steady hand for the staff and for so many, and she will be deeply missed. Thank you, Shari!

The second position is Sunday School Coordinator. The coordinator will be responsible for the weekly operation of the Sunday School program for all children age three through fifth grade. Thank you to Rachael Frigo, our Youth Education and Outreach representative on Church Council, for volunteering her time over many months to lovingly run online Sunday School.  

The third position is Organist and Choir Accompanist.  This position has been vacant since the passing of our dear friend and organist Lee McGinty last December.  We are grateful to both Debbie Cargo for providing us with organ music in the interim for online worship, and to Kirsten Holzhauer for continuing to support worship services on piano and as cantor.  Kirsten is not going anywhere!  We will continue to be blessed by her talents on Saturday nights and at various times in worship. There will be information provided in the future on the Adult Choir Director position.

Congregation members who have a strong desire to serve in this role will be considered.
