Jazzmass comes to St. Timothy October 4. Bring your neighbors, fill the church, praise our God! This one time gift for our vibrant small church began with a welcome. A while back I had the chance to meet pianist Nancy Hagen, little did I know her husband is a bid-deal Jazz artist (and faithful Lutheran) who proclaims the love of Christ through his saxophone. I was approached after worship to ask if St. Timothy could fill our pews for a unique worship experience. I said “Yes. Unique is St. Timothy’s middle name.” To be clear, this isn’t a concert this is worship, and an offering of song to bring us together in the love of Christ… like we do every week… like we’ve never done before! I am very excited to receive this gift and I pray you are too.
