Giving Opportunities
We give with grateful hearts, striving to be faithful stewards, recognizing that everything belongs to God. We try to help you conveniently, consistently, and joyfully give financial gifts to St. Timothy.
Here are some options.
Cash/ Check
During worship services we provide an opportunity to give when we pass the offering plate. This is often the easiest way to give through cash/check.
Online Banking
If you prefer not to write checks, many banks offer options to create a new payee with online banking.
Online Giving
Online Giving is a convenient way to give and make donations whether you would like to make a one time donation or make a regular reoccurring offering.
One way to make a regular reoccurring offering to St. Timothy is to sign up for our Simply Giving Program. Simply Giving is a convenient way to make your regular offerings. With this electronic giving program, you can easily set up a recurring giving schedule or make one-time contributions. For an online gift to go to a designated fund, simply check the fund identified or write in the Other field provided. We encourage you to set up a schedule of recurring contributions. It’s convenient and provides much-needed consistency for our church. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. Even when traveling, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, we will continue to receive your contributions on an uninterrupted basis. If you would like more information about Simply Giving, please contact our Financial Secretary at financesecy@sttimothylutheran.com
We also offer the ability to use popular and secure electronic third party services such as PayPal and Vanco Services. Please choose the app that you feel most comfortable with. Again all options to give are secure.
Gifts of Stock
The mission of St. Timothy has been blessed greatly by gifts of stock. Please check with your own tax advisor on the benefits to you and please notify Sheri Stutesman, our Financial Secretary if you plan to support St. Timothy this way.
Estate Gifts
St. Timothy has been honored and humbled by faithful members who have left a legacy to their church. Please consult your attorney/ financial advisor for guidance in determining the planned gift approach that is right for you.
