Didache or Education and Learning

Didache is like the English word didactic, which is an adjective that describes something that is educational or informative. One of the earliest non canonical Christian manuscripts is called The Didache. Its first line gets right to the point: “The teaching of the Lord to the Nations (same word for Gentiles) by the twelve apostles.” The Didache, much like the gospel of St. Matthew, comes from a Jewish community that is engaged in the work of theology: faith seeking understanding in a widening new context, in order to welcome, and, bring meaning and unity among new people with different ideas, traditions, and opportunities.
