Help with Hesed House this month! Hesed House is on November 28 & 29
Our Hesed House commitment is on Tuesday, Nov. 28th and Wednesday, Nov. 29th, covering dinner & breakfast shifts. The amount of guests serviced at Hesed House has risen to 200, so there are more food donation options available.
All volunteers must be at least 13 years old.
Hesed House is the second-largest homeless shelter in the state of Illinois, and the largest shelter outside of the city of Chicago. Their mission is to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless and give people the chance to hope again. We support this ministry by serving at the shelter every 2 months by providing food and other needed items.
